It looks like Eve is losing touch with all but the most seasoned players. The new patch makes it easyer for strong players to make money, and harder for weaker players to survive and develop. Having been killed 4 times so far by PC's, each time while i was in a heavily armed cruiser, it looks like Eve only caters for Battleship owners. I cant even get to my lvl 3 agent anymore as she's in a 0.3 security system. Eve will pay for this, no one enjoys being killed all the time. Newbie's wont hang arround for long im sure.

And do what, spend my precious time watching my ship mine from crappy asteroids for hours on end im not paying ú8 a month for that. its not fare that the games getting harder. The people who started earlier got battleships for half the cost they are now. I'm quiting as soon as this months subscription runs out, and im sure lots of weaker players will too. It's Dark age of camelot for me, at least they dont discriminate against people who have a life.

You think so, my friend has got with in 6 million of buying a battleship 3 times. Every time a patch has come out and the prices have risen astronomically, he quit last week. Do you actually think thats fare, when people who started earlier could buy them for 60 million.

yes you are wrong you could buy battleships for 60 million 2 weeks ago, now they are 120 million minimum.
The game is great if you have one, you can make cash by the bucket full, if not however you have no chance.

Im not getting into a slagging match over this so please dont bother posting here if your after some sort of reaction.
Forums are for oppinions to be aired, the last thing they need is abusive little pillocks dragging the tone down.

Right now im doing agent missions, the trouble is my lvl 3 agent is in a 0.3 security system, so i get attacked by tough PC pirates all the time. Doubt if i'll ever get a battleship, but if i did i'd start tackling NPC pirates for bounty and equipment. I was doing this a while ago in my cruiser, but PC's in battleships made it impossible to survive in low level systems.

Not really miso, like i said forums are for oppinions. It just gets a bit sad when people cant put forward a sensible point and have to resort to mindless abuse.

Nervy, as to your house prices analogy, why do you think loads of brits are buying property abroad. Thats exactly what newbies will do here. ie leave for a better, and farer game.

Not having abttleships isnt my problem, its the fact that people who do have them dominate the game. You can make cash 10 times quicker if you have one. The best way to resolve this would be to have interrim ships classes. That way the gulf between haves and have nots would be much smaller. Bad game design is at fault for this, and i was dissapointed to see it unresolved in the new patch.

Yes but like i said, i dont pay ú8 subscription fee to site watching my ship auto mine for hours on end. Watching paint dry is cheaper and just as entertaining.

Sorry all. guess i got the wrong idea about this game and the people who play it. I bought it because i thought it would be fun to play. I stand corrected i see now u have to be bored to death instead. Mining, carrying cargo, getting iced by PC's who are harder than you every week. Sorry its not my kind of thing. Like most of you have said in your charming (miso) way i should try something else. So i shall. bye. Oh and miso get some anger management u gimp.

Guess i hit a few nerves with this post from the mindless abuse im getting. Just goes to show, some people are too childish to listen to other peoples oppinions. If anyone thinks calling people abusive names is big they should take a look at how pathetic it sounds. Like i said, forums are for oppinions not rantings, and thats what i wrote. If the world of Eve is populated by brainless abusive nerds then im glad im leaving. As for those who had something constructive to say well done, consider yourselves a paid up member of the human race instead of an animal.
